About me...

Hi, I’m a solo entertainer and I’ve been doing this for over 30 years! Born in Wimbledon to a German mother and a Burmese father, I moved to Hong Kong when I was 13. Here I played mainly bass in my school big band as well as a 60s rock n roll band and then a soul and R&B band as bassist and backing singer and bassist and lead singer respectively. I also did some one-man band gigs, mainly vocals and acoustic guitar. I married and had my first boy, Scott. After 12 years we moved to South Africa for 18 years. We had another son, Ian and I eventually got back into music after a four year break, playing restaurants and bars and loads of private parties and weddings, as a solo musician, this time using backing tracks. Whilst in SA I met my current wife on Facebook at the end of 2008 and in 2010 moved to north Wales to start our life together. We married in Cyprus in 2013. We lived there for almost 9 years, before returning to Wales, as the COVID plandemic was having a negative effect on the tourist industry and finding work proved almost impossible. I have performed to audiences big and small. Like a private party for three business women at a prestigious venue or the support act for Killer Queen, one of the best Queen tributes, in an amphitheatre to almost 2500 people. I love this job, whether it’s just singing or rocking out a solo on guitar. Seeing people enjoying themselves gives me a huge buzz. I have performed all over, nationally and internationally and always accompanied by my beautiful wife, Jan who handles all my bookings and has been my rock for over 17 years.
